A. Account Information
We may collect name, email address, password hash, login/session information, plan or subscription status, and billing identifiers if applicable. We do not intend to store plain-text passwords.
B. User-Entered Trading Workflow Information
Users may enter portfolio/account book names and notes, manually entered portfolio values, macro outlook entries, ticker theses, trade tickets, trade construction notes, execution logs, risk notes, post-mortem notes, attachments, screenshots, and other user-entered content.
Users choose what to enter and should avoid entering information they do not want stored in the platform.
C. Billing Information
If and when billing is implemented, payment processing may be handled by Stripe or another third-party provider. Electropoint LLC may receive limited billing metadata, such as customer ID, subscription status, plan, billing email, and payment status. Electropoint LLC should not store full credit card numbers.
D. Technical and Usage Information
We may collect IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, log data, pages and features used, timestamps, error logs, cookies, and session data.
E. Communications
We may collect support emails, beta access requests, feedback, survey responses, product inquiries, and other communications users choose to send.
3. How We Use Information
Electropoint LLC may use information to provide and operate the service, create and manage user accounts, save and display user-entered trade workflow data, maintain authentication and security, provide support, improve features and user experience, process billing and subscriptions if applicable, communicate service updates, detect abuse, fraud, or security issues, and comply with legal obligations.
4. No Sale of Personal Information
Electropoint LLC does not sell user personal information. Electropoint LLC does not sell user trade notes, theses, macro outlooks, portfolio/account labels, or attachments.
5. Sensitive Trading Information
User-entered trade information may be commercially or personally sensitive. Users should only enter information they are comfortable storing in the service.
Electropoint LLC will use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user data, but no system is perfectly secure.
6. User Content Ownership
Users retain ownership of the content they enter. Electropoint LLC processes user content only to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service. Electropoint LLC does not claim ownership of user trade theses, notes, attachments, or portfolio/account content.
7. How We Share Information
Information may be shared with hosting providers such as DigitalOcean or another infrastructure provider, database and storage providers, payment processors such as Stripe when implemented, email providers, analytics or error logging providers if implemented, legal or compliance authorities if required by law, service providers under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations, and in business transfer scenarios such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The service may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences, and analytics. Users can control cookies through browser settings, but disabling cookies may affect functionality.
9. Data Security
Electropoint LLC uses reasonable measures designed to protect user information. These may include HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, backups, and secure hosting practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Users are responsible for protecting their login credentials.
10. Data Retention
Electropoint LLC retains information as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain backups. Users may request deletion of account or data. Some data may remain in backups or logs for a limited period.
